Chopped strand mats CSM 300, 450, 600

Chopped strand mats – CSM. The chopped strand mats are made from non-oriented chopped strands bonded with a PVA-based emulsion binder or a PE-based powder binder. Both types are very well soluble in styrene.

The emulsion mats are also suitable for the production of shape-intensive products, for the production of laminates using all types of unsaturated polyester resins. They are used in applications that are not demanding to the products transparency. If the products are required to be transparent, we choose powder mats manufactured using a polyester powder-based binder.

The mats are designed for hand laying, continuous lamination, winding or pressing.

The standard mat width is 125 cm. However, we can easily produce other widths required by the customer.
